Besides the fact that this is my favorite TV-Show and I needed to share it with you, here’s a post with nothing but reasons to start watching Friends as soon as you can.
- Once you’ve seen it, you’ll feel deeply in love with it & you’ll want ASAP to start watching it again
It is true. I’ve watched it more than 5 times from the beginning to the end. I’ll rewatch it. I’ll even see random episodes and it would still be making me laugh and feel so good as the first time I’ve seen them.
2. Each character is teaching you something different
If you already watched it, you are pretty comfortable with each one of them and their personality, but if you are still indecisive, here’s some help.
Monica Geller (Courteney Cox) – Always keep looking for the good in people around you. It is fine to be competitive if it brings to you excitement and keeps you moving. There is nothing wrong with being a perfectionist, as long as it doesn’t become an obsession.
Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) – Don’t be afraid to show your feelings and be vulnerable. Doing what you love is also an important subject. Always keep your career and education levels high. And most important, don’t lie to the ones you love. Your ego can easily take control and make you lose everyone’s trust and respect for you.
Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston) – You can always go big when your friends are with you. You know the saying ‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.’ This one applies perfectly to her part in the TV Show.
Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) – Life is so much easier when you know how to balance your humor & sarcasm. Also, in his relationship with Joey, he showed how friendship is or should be more important than money.
Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) – Keep on trying hard for the thing you wanna achieve. Don’t let anyone else get in the way of your dream. From him, we can also learn that is so important to stay loyal to your friends, even when they did you wrong.
Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow) – Show and bring to this cold world kindness and empathy. Keep everyone around you happy and welcomed. Do not know how hate feels like, even if life is treating you bad sometimes. And most important, be you. Don’t try to change yourself in order to please people. Most of the times, the world will appreciate you, even more, when you’re yourself and you stand your ground.
3. Well… if these arguments haven’t convinced you yet to start watching Friends… Then try watching some episodes and convince yourself!
